Features of development the professional thinking of police officers (CPD of Ukraine)

The article is an attempt of the empirical research of development the professional thinking of police officers (CPD of Ukraine). We find next results. Professional thinking of officers police CPD in general is characterized by consistency, adequacy, concreteness, rigidity and standardization with low indicators of originality, abstractness and instability. The operations of thinking are presented by the developed enough skills of analysis, systematization and comparison. Professional thinking of officers police CPD presented to mainly realistic, pragmatic and analytical styles. Self-regulation of behavior on the whole corresponds to the sufficient level. Set a certain typicality, uniformity and consistency in the manifestations of the components of self-regulation of behavior, a slight exception is the tendency to planning, which indicates the completeness of investigators' needs in the informed planning of activities.Cognitive styles of individual operational staff are characterized by field dependence, the advantage of reflexivity, a high tolerance for unrealistic experience, scanning cognitive control. Thinking strategies are presented variant enough. However, there is a tendency to the use of conservative strategy and strategy of one-at-time search. Predictive ability to match the high levels of development. Forecasts of officers police CPD are evidence-based, prospective, analytical and conscious. The problem of flexibility and predictability. Professional determination of emotional intelligence to the operational staff of the officers police CPD is consistent with the General norm.
