Abstract

The thesis is devoted to the problem of the future pharmacists’ professional competence formation at the higher medical educational establishments. The present state of research of this problem in educational theory and practice of higher medical educational establishments analyzed. Pharmacist’s professional competence structure grounded (motivational and axiological, cognitive, professional and active, social and personal components); the content, forms and methods of forming social and personal, motivational and axiological components of pharmacist’s professional competence defined by integrating value-meaning, socially meaningful and professionally-oriented information into the program of relevant academic subjects and the extracurricular community services of the future pharmacists’; criteria of the formation of pharmacist’s professional competence outlined (axiological and motivational, cognitive, professional and active, social and personal); professional and personal rating of the future pharmacist grounded as an pedagogical technology of the professional competence formation; experimentally verified the effectiveness of the proposed content, forms and methods of the future pharmacists’ professional competence formation at the higher medical educational establishments.
