The article discusses transgenerational issues in range of issues of conflict relations of generations. It is noted that the concept of "generation" or "generation" as a social phenomenon is studied in the positivist tradition (A. Kont, H. Spencer, J. S. Mill) and the romantic-historical school (V. Dilthey). Analyzed that the Humanities on transgenerational issues and analysis of problems of generation highlights several theoretical positions (by S. Anochin): the romantic-idealistic interpretation of "generation" in German historiography of the nineteenth century; spiritual-historical theory; conflict model; structural-functional approach (S. Eisenstadt), this approach is methodologically close to the structural-functional model of society Talcott Parsons; culturological approach (K. Mannheim). Discusses the interpretation of the phenomenon transgenerational as the conceptual phenomenon of social reality that is fixed within a certain semantic field, at the level of constructs and concepts that structure the social space of the individual. Our author's position is the understanding that transgeneration is a mechanism for the cultural Genesis and requires consideration outside the subject of research of psychology of the family, as is often seen in modern developments. Transgenerational issues closely connected with the system of ethnic customs and traditions, which act as nucleus of socio-cultural reality and provide a system for the transmission of value-oriented patterns of behavior, and the type of worldview in the culture system. In this sense transgenerational mechanisms provide cultural continuity. Therefore, separation can be represented as a specific method of cultural identification. In this connection I wish to emphasize the intercultural dimension transgenerational, the operation of which the phenomenon of intercultural communication as presented: communication code communication failure, communication noise, culture shock. It is proved that the phenomenon transgenerational is conceptually a phenomenon of social reality, which is fixed within a certain semantic field, at the level of constructs and concepts that structure the social space of the individual.
