The peculiarities of students’ creative thinking in the conditions of studying in higher educational establishment (empirical research)

Abstract

The article, basing on the results of empirical research, analyses the features of student youth creative thinking elements identifying in the conditions of higher education. The program of empirical research is based on a three-component model of manifestation of cognitive, affective, and conative elements of students' thinking as subjects of future activity. The content characteristics of the students’ creative thinking elements are analysed. As a result, it is established that the features of students’ creative thinking are determined by the configuration of thinking structural components, which is formed based on students' understanding of the sense of future professional activity subject. Its dynamics depends on the scale of students’ involving in the process of future profession mastering, which is determined not only by the effectiveness of the educational process in the university, but also by the ability of students to be involved in the production process in the profile of the future profession. It is confirmed that the level of students’ creative thinking emotional components increases in terms of combining of learning with production throughout the learning process in the university. It is confirmed that the dynamics of understanding the meaning of future professional activity by students in the conditions of study at the university is due to the organizational characteristics of the educational space. The influence of socio-demographic factors on the indicators of neophilia of students during their studying at the university has also been established.
